Teary eye :P My heart was carried away by the absolutely incredible and wonderful Mountain Province. Yes it was my first time and I really wanna go back here over and over again ( I even want to build my house here lol). It was relaxing refreshing seeing those houses built up in there, the zigzag road over the mountain?, how amazing it was! #HappinessOverLoad. I chose not to sleep like others did because I don't want to missed everything ( the grass, trees, rocks, the formation of mountains, as in everything ) Benguet is a blessed province.
My head is aching, (dahil siguro sa pagod, gutom, init, lamig init ulit tapos lamig na naman. ) I need to take a little rest.
Don't be afraid to ask favor when you need a help, Leave your fear and face the world ( hahaha. anu daw?)
Output Of Borrowed Digicam (Thanks to my ate francin) click photo for large view
Now it's bedtime!
I fell asleep wearing 1 shirt, 2 jackets, leggings, my new trekking pants, 3socks, bonnet, and gloves inside my sleeping bag. Tell me how cold it was there then!
After an hour I woke up chilling. I panicked and I was so scared. Am I gonna be awake tomorrow? Or I will be dead! I'm not being OA, seriously it was so cold, I was freezing, I even thought to go out and ask for help. The wind and rain was strong and getting stronger as the time goes by. To stop me from worrying I think the best solution to heat me up, I put all of my clothes, towel, plastic inside my sleeping bag, then it worked! I fell asleep again, I don't know why I always get awake every two hours.
We need to leave the campsite at 3:30am to start our trek going to the summit, ( pero hindi pa din tumitigil ang ulan ;( ). Hot coffee before the trek :D (Akala ko ako lang ang nag freeze kagabi, not now when I heard them talking, complaining and look so violet).
Finally we reached the summit, the space is so small, very few can accommodate.( anyway according to DENR, they set schedule and assign other climber to stay in peak 1, 2 or 3 due to the small space of the highest peak, hmmp. me in doubt :P)
I went back with disappointment. :( (Bakit ngayon pa nagkaroon na lowpressure! bkt?)
I was not able to capture the pretty view of mountain due to heavy fog and rainfall, I also need to keep the borrowed digicam dry (Thanks again to ate francin)
I will recommend you this TRipinas Tour Venture because of good experience I had with them, I'm not gonna specify everything, Mr. Tee is good organizer, very hands-on and very good..hahah.. un lang..
By the way, if you would ask if how was the trail, well it was not hard, in fact the trail was clean like you can run freely, I think locals fixed the way to be more comfortable, it was not so steep not even slippery, the problem I encountered was the cold weather.
"As the DENR says during orientation- LEAVE NO TRACE."
